Ways to bringing Southern Delaware to you.

Lots of people want so badly to be here this spring, but due to COVID-19 public safety measures, that can’t happen right now. So, we at Southern Delaware Tourism are committed to bringing Southern Delaware to you until you can visit. Until that time comes, we’ll save you a seat!

Here are some of the ways we’re bringing Southern Delaware to you:

• “Experience Southern Delaware- Virtually!” - our new and continuously updated webpage that allows you to experience some of the best of Southern Delaware. This page includes virtual tours, online classes, at-home activity guides, Zoom discussions, and much more being added every day. Check it out here!

• If you missed our Until We See You Again video vacation last month, you can watch it here. Be sure to bookmark it for easy access whenever you need a mental massage.

• If, like us, you’re spending a lot of time on Zoom lately, you might enjoy at least appearing to be in Southern Delaware by using one of our Zoom backgrounds. You’ll find them here.

• For those of you who enjoy jigsaw puzzles, we’ve been posting Southern Delaware-themed online puzzles to our Facebook feed every day or so. Here are a few to try. If you enjoy those, follow us on Facebook for more.

• We’re posting Chef Demos by Culinary Coast™ Chefs on our Facebook page a couple of times a week to help inspire you since so many of us are cooking at home these days.

Please remember to support your favorite local restaurants, arts organizations, and businesses by purchasing gift cards, leaving online reviews, shopping their online merch, or contributing to the funds that have been set up by individual businesses to support their out-of-work employees. Taking any of these actions is a great way to ensure that when you do return, you’ll be returning to the Southern Delaware you know and love.

To keep up with all the latest, see *even more* virtual experiences, and get a peek of all the goodness still happening in Southern Delaware, just like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter or Instagram and you’ll get fresh content every day!

Last - but certainly not least - scroll down and get a taste of Southern Delaware right in your own kitchen with a Blue Bay Mussels with Spicy Sausage recipe from Culinary Coast™ Chef Nina Maddox of The Pines in Rehoboth Beach.
